MCP Guide

FlareLane MCP is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that connects your AI workspace, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to your FlareLane project. Once connected, you can analyze campaign performance, understand your audience, and draft segments and messages through conversation, without opening the console.

What you can do with MCP

Compare which campaigns actually led to purchases and revenue, by channel and by message.
Find how response differs by day and hour to analyze the best send timing.
Find customers showing signs of churn and save them as a separate segment.
Decide which message follows which behavior and create a customer journey automation draft right away.
Check how event and tag tracking is wired up to spot data issues.

What you cannot do with MCP

Sending a message immediately and scheduling a send are not possible through MCP.
Automations and in-app messages can only be created and edited as drafts, and can be activated in the console.
Requesting or cancelling Kakao Alimtalk template inspection is only possible in the console.
Sensitive personal data such as email, phone number, name, and date of birth cannot be looked up.
Setup tasks such as creating or deleting a project, enabling channels, and changing member permissions are only possible in the console.

Setting up MCP

Connect from Claude

The steps are the same on claude.ai and the desktop app.

Open Settings from the profile menu in the bottom-left corner.
Go to Connectors and choose Add → Add custom connector.
Enter FlareLane as the name and the address below as the server URL, then select Add.

Select Connect on the FlareLane connector and sign in with your FlareLane console account to finish.

Connect from ChatGPT

Open Settings from the profile menu in the bottom-left corner.
In the security settings, turn on developer mode. This is required to add custom connectors.
Open the plugins menu in the sidebar and select the + button in the top-right corner.
Enter FlareLane as the name and the address below as the server URL, choose OAuth for authentication, review the notice, then select Create.

Sign in with your FlareLane console account on first use to finish.

Other MCP clients

Any tool that supports MCP, such as Claude Code or Cursor, can use FlareLane by registering the same server URL.
